Acopia Networks Appoints Andy Stubley Vice President of Sales, For Europe, the Middle East, and Africa

Seasoned Sales Executive to Spearhead Aggressive Growth in EMEA

Lowell, MA – July 9, 2007 – Acopia Networks®, Inc., the world’s leading provider of high-performance, intelligent file virtualization solutions, today announced that it has named Andy Stubley to the position of vice president of sales for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).  In this position, he will be responsible for continuing the aggressive sales growth in the EMEA region through the strategic direction and expansion of the sales force.  Stubley will report directly to Chris Lynch, president and CEO of Acopia.

Stubley is a highly seasoned sales executive with over 20 years of experience developing and executing breakthrough sales strategies.  Prior to joining Acopia, Stubley held the position of director of EMEA, Centera Business Unit, at EMC.  Before that, he served as sales director for EMC’s European telecommunications accounts.  Stubley has also held senior sales management positions with world leading technology providers including, Sequent and Oracle.
